Woodpecker Press also publishes the Big Bold Business (TM) Series of business books. Donna is also president and owner of drtEnterprises, LLC, which provides editorial and production services to publishers. Donna’s 35+ year career in publishing included 10 years in the Technical Publishing Department at ASME International, where she served in various publishing positions, culminating with the position of managing editor of reference publications. As such, she was responsible for all aspects of journal production and an online abstracts database product.
Brenda Hendrickson, CSA (http://brendahendricksoncsa.com/), is an accountant, tax specialist, and certified senior advisor. She is also the author of How to Be a Frugal Millionaire: Eight Simple Steps to Creating Personal Wealth, which she self-published. Becoming an author can give a business owner or manager remarkable credibility, and others gain a real sense of satisfaction in achieving their life’s goal of writing a book.

Raquel Bonassisa, a NYC design veteran and Parsons School of Design graduate, owns Hit Designs, a graphic design boutique. After working in many sectors of design for such clients as Pepsi, Colgate, Budweiser, Miramax Film, and the NBA Sports, Bonassisa created her boutique design studio in 2002. As creative director, she leads a team of designers, photographers, and Web and interactive artists to create stunning ads, Web sites, and other marketing materials. Hit Designs strives to provide the best resources the big city has to offer right here in New Jersey.
Gene R. Sower is the owner of SamsonMedia.net, an interactive agency specializing in website development, search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing and social media marketing. Based in Montclair, New Jersey, SamsonMedia.net has a diverse base of small business clients as well as large accounts like Cisco Systems.
Prior to starting SamsonMedia.net in late 2005, Gene was the VP of Production for West Glen Communications in New York, which specialized in producing and distributing broadcast-quality public relations TV and radio content for Fortune 100 companies.
