Donna Thompson

Donna R. Thompson is the founder and publishing director at Woodpecker Press, LLC, a publishing company designed to help authors self-publish. Woodpecker Press also publishes the Big Bold Business (TM) Series of business books. Donna is also president and owner of drtEnterprises, LLC, which provides editorial and production services to publishers. Donna’s 35+ year career in publishing included 10 years in the Technical Publishing Department at ASME International, where she served in various publishing positions, culminating with the position of managing editor of reference publications. As such, she was responsible for all aspects of journal production and an online abstracts database product.

Gene R. Sower is the owner of SamsonMedia.net, an interactive agency specializing in website development, search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing and social media marketing.  Based in Montclair, New Jersey, SamsonMedia.net has a diverse base of small business clients as well as large accounts like Cisco Systems.
